7 years of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara: 5 things the Hrithik, Farhan, Abhay-starrer taught us

Director Zoya Akhtar’s Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is celebrating 7 years of release today. The buddy road-trip drama featuring Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol, Farhan Akhtar, Katrina Kaif and Kalki Koechlin has attained the status of a modern-day cult among the cinegoers for its great narrative and relevant topic. ZNMD has also given us friendship and travel goals. In fact, post the film’s release, the tourism business in Spain saw a tremendous growth as the beauty of this country was amazingly captured in ZNMD. So as the film clocks 7 years, let’s check out, the lessons we learnt from it…

Face your fears
In the film, the makers have shown three situations, where the lead characters have to face their fears. Not running away from it, they choose to face it and finally they could overcome it.
Break the rut
Everyone needs a break from their daily routine and take time off for themselves. A vacation with friends not only makes you feel relaxed and free, but it can also make your friendship stronger. At least, that’s what ZNMD tried to convey.
Forgive the people whom you love
The way Hrithik Roshan forgives Farhan Akhtar, we can’t keep a grudge with a close friend for a long time. Deep won we know we want to be with them, and forgiveness only makes a bond more powerful.
Friends are the family you choose
When Farhan realises that his biological father Naseeruddin Shah is not the person he expected, Hrithik and Abhay support just like a family. So, it doesn’t matter where you are born, you still have a choice to make your friends like your family.
Never hide your feelings

When Katrina Kaif gets attracted towards Hrithik, she doesn’t hide her feelings so as to regret it for life. Just like that, we should never hide our feelings and express them fearlessly.
